About Us

Tara Modlin-Maurizi began her career in figure skating as a national competitor, coach, and choreographer. Today, as founder and CEO of Fireworks Sports Marketing, she works across the Olympic landscape, representing athletes, developing brand partnerships, collaborating with sports governing bodies, and creating client hospitality experiences at the Games. She has supported athletes in the Olympic space for more than two decades and has attended eight Olympic Games as a representative for U.S. Olympians.

Tara’s work includes Olympic all-around bronze medalist Danell Leyva; figure skating stars Gracie Gold and Johnny Weir; and Ellie Kam and Danny O’Shea, members of the U.S. team that won figure skating gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Fireworks’ work also reaches into bobsled, Team USA curling, and flag football.

Fireworks has developed partnerships and activations with brands and media companies including Citi, BMW, MAC Cosmetics, Logo TV, and Saatva. Since 2002, Tara has also produced skating shows from coast to coast, including Ice Dreams, Holiday Dreams on Ice, Blades for the Brave, Stars, Stripes and Skates, and MAC’s Glitter on Ice campaign.

Her other credits include appearances on Be Good Johnny Weir and Say Yes to the Dress, as well as casting work for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Tara is grateful for the encouragement of her four children, Kirsten, Rebecca, Conalie, and Dylan, and the support of her husband and best friend, Craig Maurizi.
